When a tenant’s pet attacks or attempts to attack someone (such as a neighbor, guest, landlord, etc.) the landlord must, in most every situation, have the pet removed. Prepare and give this letter to the tenant, which informs the tenant of the attack or attempted attack, lease/rental agreement violation, request for immediately and permanent removal of pet, give a date certain the pet must be removed and a pre-notice of possible tenancy termination.
