Lead Pamphlet-English (Property Built Prior to 1978)

Federal law requires that individuals receive certain information before renting, mining, or renovating pre-1978 housing. The landlords have to disclose known information on lead-based paint and lead-based paint hazards before leases take effect. The leases and rental agreements must include a disclosure form about lead-based paint. This English based pamphlet and can be given to new tenants along with their new lease or rental agreement documents. Don't forget this is the pamphlet only, and you will need the form entitled “Lead Disclosure Notice" (see above).
