Notice of Denial to Rent KF

Under federal law, more specifically pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act , (see government site) 15 U.S.C. Section 1681, et seq., landlords and other credit grantors must provide a written notice to any prospective tenant who is denied housing based on the information or lack of information found on the prospect's credit report.
